Really original song craft. I just love how Lee phases the words. I just love the way she feels her way around the edges of the words. Song craft ? This girl knows how to write, Hell...just sit back and listen. I Don't think Lee has any idea...just how good she is. Maybe that's a good thing ? Do diamonds have to know that they shine ? added to station 3/25/2010 12:16:48 AM

comedy? yes, again.
I guess I didn't suck the first time, because Jan 13 I'll be standing up at Zanies Comedy Club in Nashville and speaking funny things again.
And because you are reading this, you get free tickets just for asking: laugh@leequick.com
[addendum: also appeared Feb 17, March 24, June 2]

comedy? yes.
Well here's something different: On Dec 2 I'll be standing up at Zanies Comedy Club in Nashville and speaking funny things for a couple of minutes. No songs, just funny.
And if that wasn't enough, then there's awesome headlining comedian Jesse Case! much funnier than Kevin Nealon.

I went to Bonnaroo for the first time, and spent most of my time in the Comedy Tent. I got photos of a balloon, Daily Show folks, and more...

Amplifier magazine interview
Music from the Hill: the magic of Lee Quick
"The Amplifier" magazine (BG Daily News)
Described as “Straight-shooting, smart-sexy, and occasionally funny as hell,” New Orleans native and Katrina survivor Lee Quick has performed in Java City before to rave reviews. Lee, who now lives in Nashville, always delivers a thoughtful and powerful set that often stops students passing through the café in their tracks. I recently had a chance to chat with Lee who is now working on her Master's Degree in Music at Belmont University. Lee will be back in Java City on February 11th at noon.

cold, cold Christmas
is it merry?
is it cheery?
is it jolly?
well I wouldn't know from jolly, but it's not my least unfavorite time of year.
my special musical Christmas message is a fake duet with Stephen Colbert, found on my music page. It will be up there until January.
have a cold, cold Christmas (and a joyful new year) - Lee
